The Automated Drafting Solutions software (the "Software") is copyright 2012 by Automated Drafting Solutions, Inc.

By installing and using the Software you accept and agree to the terms of this License (the "License"). However, your are free to renegotiate this license agreement by contacting Harold Bowers at HLB@HLBTECH.COM and obtaining a new license duly signed and agreed upon by Automated Drafting Solutions, Inc.You will also be presented with a License Agreement when you install the software with which you must agree. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, promptly de-install the Software and, if you paid for a License, contact your distributor or Automated Drafting Solutions, whomever you paid for the software, for a refund of the amount that you paid.
The term “Software” includes, and these terms and conditions also apply to, any updates, modifications and upgrades to the Software that you may receive from time to time.
1. License Grant
This License permits you, as purchaser of the Software, to use one copy of the Software solely for your use on one computer per purchased copy of the software. The Software will install on one computer and be regisitried to that computer's CPU. If you change computers or install another CPU, MicroDraftsman will no longer work and you will be required to purchase another copy of MicroDraftsman for your new computer or computer with a different CPU. This License permits you, using the DEMO version of the Software, to use one copy of the Software solely for your use on one computer per demo copy of the software. You are not allowed to copy or transmit any of the DEMO or PURCHASED Software to anyone else, under any conditions. The enclosed documentation (“Documentation”) may not be copied. You agree that you will not sub-license, assign, transfer, distribute, pledge, lease, rent or share your rights under this License except with prior written permission from Automated Drafting Solutions, Inc. You agree that you will not modify, adapt or translate, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of the Software.

2.Automated Drafting Solutions's Rights
You acknowledge and agree that the Software and Documentation (the “Licensed Products”) are proprietary products of Automated Drafting Solutions, Inc.under international copyright law and disclosed to you by Automated Drafting Solutions in confidence. You shall take all reasonable steps to safeguard the Licensed Products. Automated Drafting Solutions owns and retains all copyright-, trademark-, trade secret- and other proprietary rights in and to the Licensed Products. This License conveys only a non-exclusive and
limited right of use to you, revocable in accordance with the terms and conditions of this License

3. Copyright and Licensing Information - Automated Drafting Solutions Software Products (the “software") are Copyright© 2007 Automated Drafting Solutions, Inc. They are sold by license only. You are not allowed to reverse engineer the software. License terms for all versions of Automated Drafting Solutions's Software Products are provided on a License Agreement included with the software.

This document is a legal Agreement between you, the licensee and Automated Drafting Solutions, Inc. Please read this agreement before installing any Automated Drafting Solutions software program. By installing this program, you accept the terms of this Agreement. All rights are reserved. This product is protected by both United States copyright law and international treaty provisions. By installing any or all of these programs, you AGREE TO THE TERMS of this AGREEMENT. The original purchaser or 'downloader 'is granted a LICENSE to use the Software only, subject to the following restrictions and limitations.

1. The LICENSE is to the original purchaser only, and is not transferable without written permission of Automated Drafting Solutions.
   
   

2. The original purchaser may use the Software on 1 computer owned or leased by the original purchaser.You may not use the Software on more than 1 machine even if you own or lease all of them without the written consent of Automated Drafting Solutions.
   
   

3. The original purchaser may make back-up copies of the Software only for his or her own use only, subject to the use limitations in this license.
   
   

4. The original purchaser may not engage in, nor permit third parties to engage in any of the following:
   
   

   1. Providing or permitting use of or disclosing the Software to third parties.
      
      

   2. Providing use of the Software in a computer service business, network, time-sharing, multiple CPU or multiple user arrangement to users who are not individually licensed by Automated Drafting Solutions.
      
      

   3. Making alterations or copies of any kind in the Software (except as specifically permitted above.)
      
      

   4. Attempting to UN-assemble, de-compile or reverse engineer the Software in any way.
      
      

   5. Granting sublicenses, leases, or other rights in the Software to others.
      
      

   6. Making copies, or verbal or media translations, of the user guide(s).
      
      

   7. Making telecommunication data transmissions of the Software.
      
      

   8. TERM- This license is effective for 30 days from installation or until terminated. You may terminate this license at any time by destroying all copies of the Software. This license will terminate automatically, without notice from Automated Drafting Solutions, if you fail to comply with this Agreement. Upon such termination, you shall destroy all copies of the software (together with all modifications and merged portions in any form).
      
      

   9. LIMITED WARRANTY-
      
      

      1. Automated Drafting Solutions warrants that the original disks are free from defects in material and workmanship, assuming normal use, for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. If a defect occurs during this time, you may return your faulty disk to Automated Drafting Solutions, along with a dated proof of purchase, and it will be replaced free of charge.
         
         

      2. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTY SET FORTH ABOVE, Automated Drafting Solutions GRANTS NO OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE DISKS AND RELATED MATERIALS, THEIR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, THEIR QUALITY OR THEIR MERCHANTABILITY. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION OR ADVICE GIVEN BY Automated Drafting Solutions, ITS RESELLERS, AGENTS, OR EMPLOYEES SHALL CREATE A WARRANTY. SOME STATES DO ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTED, SO THEÂ ABOVE EXCLUSIONS AND/OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
         
         

      3. Automated Drafting Solutions's entire liability and you exclusive remedy shall be at Automated Drafting Solutions's options, either (a) return of the price paid or (b) repair or replacement of the Software that does not meet Automated Drafting Solutions's limited warranty and that is returned to Automated Drafting Solutions with a dated proof of purchase.
         
         

      4. NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.- IN NO EVENT SHALL Automated Drafting Solutions BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, OR OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE OR WRITTEN MATERIALS, EVEN IF YOU HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
         
         

      5. MISCELLANEOUS- This agreement is governed by the law of the State of Virginia. If any provision of this Agreement shall be unlawful, void, of for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severed for this Agreement and shall not effect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions of this Agreement. This Agreement is the complete statement of this Agreement and supersedes any proposal or prior communication between us relating to the subject matter of this Agreement. Automated Drafting Solutions reserves the right to terminate this license if there is a violation of its term or default by the original purchaser. Upon termination, for any reason, all copies of the Software must be immediately returned to Automated Drafting Solutions, removed from the users computers and any other copies made for any reason destroyed and the original purchaser shall be liable to Automated Drafting Solutions for any and all damages suffered (including attorney fees) as a result of the violation or default.USE, DUPLICATION OR DISCLOSURE BY THE US GOVERNMENT IS SUBJECT TO THE RESTRICTIONS DEFINED AS 'RESTRICTED RIGHTS' AS SET FORTH IN SUBDIVISION (c) (1) (ii) OF THE DFAR CLAUSE 252.227-7013 ENTITLED 'RIGHTS IN TECHNICAL DATA AND COMPUTER SOFTWARE'.

6. Refund Policy
Automated Drafting Solutions will refund the full price of the Software if the Software is damaged or defective, and only if you notify Automated Drafting Solutions in writing of the refund request within ten (10) days after the date you purchased the Software.

7. Termination
This agreement is in effect until terminated. You may terminate the agreement at any time by destroying all copies of the Software and Documentation and erasing any copies on storage media. The agreement also terminates if you fail to comply with any terms and conditions of this agreement. In such an event, you agree to destroy and erase all copies of the Software and Documentation, and Automated Drafting Solutions, Inc. will be entitled to all remedies in accordance with applicable law.

8. Contact
Use of the Software other than for your internal operations on a single computer requires that you enter into a separate license agreement with Automated Drafting Solutions, INC. Please e-mail sales@hlbtech.com for further information.

 

This "base license" entitles licensee to install the font software on one (1) CPUs (or on one printer or other output device). Additional CPUs in multiples of 5 (or any fraction thereof) and each additional output device may be licensed at a discount that ranges from 50-70% of the base price.
